The good thing of vegetable oils is that they have higher smoke points than other oils. Smoke point is the temperature when smokes are given off. You can save some money by knowing the smoke point every time you deep fry your food. When you deep fry, you should lower the smoke point. When you buy your oil, you should choose the oil with higher smoke point. Here are some higher smoke point oils. The smoke point of Safflower Oil is 260 degrees. The smoke point of Sunflower oil is 258 degrees. The smoke point of Soybean Oil is 255 degrees. The smoke point of Vegetable oil is 270 degrees so vegetable oil has the highest smoke point.
